Bespoke Options for Every Client
Looking to rent an ice rink? We offer both turnkey and bespoke solutions, no matter how elaborate, to most locations along with standalone rentals or fully managed ice rinks, and event management.
Stand Alone Rink Rental:
We provide all the necessary equipment for you to operate your own ice rink. We install the ice rink, and with training and guidance, leave the rink for you to manage and maintain.
We provide:
- The under ice refrigeration system
Underneath any ice rink is a refrigeration system, this is the key component to creating the ice pad, it works like underfloor heating in reverse !
- Hand Rail Barrier System
Around most ice rinks, especially public rinks, a hand rail barrier system is used. For professional rinks, or special projects or presentations, we are able to create an ice rink without the barrier system.
- The header pipes / manifolds
This is another key component to the under ice system to which the mat system is connected to.
- Chillers & Hose
Creating ice needs some plant machinery. Chillers are use to cool and pump a refrigerant (Non-toxic Glycol Antifreeze) around the underside of the ice, creating and maintaining the ice surface.
- Non-toxic Glycol Antifreeze
We use non-toxic glycol antifreeze as a cooling fluid, to be pumped through the under ice system.
- Skates & Skate Aids – (Penguins, Seals, Polar Bears, Dolphins)
We provide a variety of ‘Skate Aids’ to help younger customers find their feet whilst skating. These also provide an extra revenue stream, as they are typically offered ‘for hire’ to the customer in addition to the admission cost.
- Hot Pits / Melt Tanks
Resurfacing and conditioning the ice surface creates snow, which accumulates very quickly, and needs a lot of space. We provide hot pits / melt tanks for disposal of the snow. Once the ice has been resurfaced the snow is emptied into a tank of hot water, where it is melted into water, and pumped harmlessly away.
- Resurfacing / Ice Conditioning Machines
11th Hour Ice provide all the machinery and equipment to keep your ice surface in tip top condition. For suitably sized rinks, we provide ride on ice resurfacing machines to resurface and condition the ice pad.
- Manual Resurfacing / Ice Conditioning Tools
For smaller rinks, where size limits ride on machinery, we provide manual scrapers and tools to resurface the ice.

- Ice Rink Operation and Management
We provide, and manage all the staffing needed to successfully manage and operate a temporary ice rink. We also maintain the ice rink and the associated control systems, plant and equipment.
- Event Design & Management
We work with our clients to create event concepts and designs. We specialise in event management and manage to take events from concept to completion.
- Ice Surface Maintenance
We provide all the specialist on ice machinery, equipment, and know how to ensure that the ice surface is safe for skating.
- Ticketing and Merchant Services
We provide a turnkey solution for ticketing and merchant services. Our ticketing software can be embedded into any website, making online sales simple and automated, whilst in the background capturing customer data, managing session bookings, with the ability to produce a very wide range of sales, and customer reports also.
- Rink Staff – Skate Safety Marshals, Skate Exchange Staff, Managers, First Aid
We provide a variety of staff to ice rinks, from the specialist labour to install and remove ice rinks, to highly experienced managers, skate staff, medics, and event staff.
- Power, Lighting, Sound (PA), Special Effects
We are able to supply you with a complete package. We are experienced in specifying and providing temporary electrical systems for the rink and the event, for both generated or grid supplies. We also supply lighting; rink flood lighting, decorative lighting, special effects lighting, along with sound systems to bring the event alive.
- Temporary Structures
Some ice rinks are open air, whilst others are fully undercover. Working with our structure partners, we can provide a variety of temporary structures, and flooring systems.
- Staff Training
We are able to train your own staff in rink operations, if you wish to operate and maintain the rink yourself.
- Ice Skating Tuition
From our highly experienced skaters, we offer Ice Skating Tuition to both staff and the public.
